Sandra Dametto

Sandra Dametto working with video in 1990 when she created and directed the coffee house, an arts & entertainment segment for the weekly t.v. program Out of Sync. After establishing Girl at Work Productions in 1993, she began to produce and direct a number of independent videos including Confessions of a Caffeine Addict, Keep Your Mouth off My Sisters, Primed Time, Who's the Criminal? Prostitution & the Law and Love Heals. In 1993, the Canadian Association of Broadcasters recognized Sandra's documentary video work with a Ruth Hancock Scholarship. She graduated with distinction in 1994 form Concordia University's Communication Studies program and is presently working on a collaborative project entitled On the Beam, funded by the Media Arts division of the Canada Council.
