Jenny Lion

Jenny Lion is a film/video maker and curator. whose work has screened internationally, including at the Whitney Biennial, the Rotterdam Film Festival and The World Wide Video Festival, and broadcast nationally on Channel 4 (UK) and NIK (Japan), in France, Germany, Kuwait, Australia, Canada and South Africa, and has received awards, including at the Berlin Film and Dallas Video Festivals. Her work has been written about in The Independent, Afterimage and The Los Angeles Times, among others. Recently, she was guest curator and coordinator of Magnetic North, a touring series of Canadian experimental video for the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and Video Pool in Winnipeg, and edited a book on the same subject for the University of Minnesota Press. She has an MFA from the University of California, San Diego and currently teaches at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota.
