Carla J. Wolf

Carla Wolf graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1990. Her work focuses in the operation of visual pleasure in the moving image and the heterosexual bias of the viewer. To this end she utilises her position as a Lesbian to disrupt this bias at the source of the production by tuning over the viewer's point of entry into her visual realm.

Vancouver based, Carla works in video, installation and new media. Her work has been exhibited across Canada, Internationally and in cyberspace. Currently shje is producing websites and CD ROM based artworks.
