Carolyn Rowney is an artist who mainly focuses on painting but also does drawing, photography, printmaking and has made an artist's video entilted " NOT TOO SENTIMENTAL" . Educated at Parson's school of Design in New York and Paris ( BFA 1991 , painting) abd York University (BA 1986, theatre), she has lived and worked in Toronto the past seven years. Showing in over 50 exhibitions, Carolyn has had eight solo shows. Locally , her work has been shown with The Dead Industry Collective and other artist collectives, at A-Space, Trinity Square Video, The Rivoli, Queen Mother Cafe, Liberty Cafe and the Squeeze Club. Internationally, she has shown in New York, Paris and Munich.
