The company produced original Canadian theatre from 1986 to 2007. da da kamera’s focus was on creation, placing no limits on the time it takes for a project’s development. Eschewing traditional roles to focus on what is necessary for a project’s full realization was da da kamera’s raison d’etre. A believe in the life, breath, and spontaneity of the work and rejection of the decorative and formulaic, developing the essential connection -- the clear and simple exchange of energy between the performer and the audience.
