Tonje Alice Madsen was born in Bodø, Norway and currently lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. She received an MFA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. Her recent works explore new forms of documentary and narration, addressing conditions of mass connectivity and isolation emerging from the Internet. Her videos have been shown at international film and video art festivals, including the International Film Festival Rotterdam and Videonale 13 in Bonn, Germany.
