Calla Durose-Moya

Calla Durose-Moya is an emerging artist working and living in Toronto, Ontario.

Calla is becoming increasingly interested in hybrid moving image work. Her practice is based on her own lived experience and often explores issues of identity. She has traditionally worked with celluloid and installation and is now broadening her practice to analog video. Her work continues to be founded in performance for camera.

Her work has been shown at Artspace, Peterborough, Catharine Parr Traill College, Trent University Peterborough, Evans Contemporary, Peterborough, and Trinity Square Video, Toronto, Vtape, Toronto, the8fest, Toronto, and Oberhausen Short Film Festival, Germany.
