Kelly Showker is an emerging, feminist film maker. She holds an MFA in Documentary Media Production from Ryerson University, Toronto, and a B.I.S. in Gender Studies and International Relations from Virginia Common Wealth University. Prior to making her first film, she worked for the U.S. Department of State Foreign Service for 8 years. Her most recent short documentary film, Etima, premiered in June 2015 at the Doc Now Festival in Toronto, Canada.
