Atefeh Khademolreza


Atefeh Khademolreza (born in Iran in 1983) is a graduate of the University of SOOREH with a BA Degree in Cinema Directing. Currently she is completing her thesis animation for her MA in Animation Directing at Sooreh University (Tehran/ Iran). Atefeh worked as a freelance director and writer in Iran Broadcasting and other Iranian independent filmmaking organizations. She wrote and directed her first short narrative film “Warm Bath” (2003).

During 13 years, besides directing 2 feature fiction films for TV and 20 short films she was involved in some short films as a producer, editor and director’s assistant. She attended in different kinds of international film festivals in IRAN and in abroad and sometimes she was nominated or won prizes. After all, she is ready to make her first professional fiction feature film for cinema.
