Gary Cook

After leaving York University in 1973 I concentrated on creative photography, participating in group exhibitions at Toronto Camera and Centennial College in 1977; Lemos Galleria, Toronto, 1979; Photo Muveszti Galleria, Budapest, 1986; and Camerawork, London, England, 1989. While living in Hungary from 1984-86 I worked in industrial photography and while in London did freelance portfolio work for models, dancers and actors.
I worked as photographer and crew for productions at London Video Access and produced and directed a public relations video for the London Association of Neighbourhood Watches. After returning to Toronto in 1989, I continued to work on a video titled "Phoenix" that I had begun in London which I have completed as a member at Charles Street Video. Work in progress is a tape about a male psychiatrist. I have a registered video production company by the name of Electronic Mirror.
