Loyola Lewis is a native of Yellowknife, N.W.T. For the last five years, she has been producing and directing short animated films and videos. Currently, she is exploring computer applications in video animation, not only as a design tool, but as a narrative form within itself. Within her work, Lewis is interested in the human condition and how it is mediated through pop culture. Although she is a dedicated video artist, she moves freely between sculpture, film and performance. Lewis's objective is to continue working on the idea rather than the technique.
