Scribbles & Bits Collective

Scribble and Bits is a collective of 5 queer youth under the age of 25 on the prowl to capture the trials and tribulations of what it's like to be young, proud and queer with a collective political conscience. We as a collective are aware that some of our fore mothers and fathers of the Rainbow Communities across the world see our mandate as a contradiction in terms (young, queer, aware??) So that's why we're here; to make our parents proud. We know that we have a long way to go in terms of global equality and mutual respect and recognition as a community. It's just that sometimes the face of activism changes from one generation to the next and we think that the best way to let this show is through the use of video.

Currently we are working on a 25 minute video project entitled Jagged Little Prom which we plan to have completed by June of 2001.

Scribbles and Bits Collective are Chrystal Donbrath-Zinga, Alana Mathers, Shawn LeBlanc, Sarah Trimble, Scott Tanaka.
