Lana Lin

Lana Lin is a Taiwanese American film and video artist who grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and lives in New York. Her work has crossed experimental, narrative and documentary forms and has been exhibited internationally in festivals and museums, such as the London Film Festival, the International Women's Film Festival in Creteil, France, the Images Festival in Toronto, Canada, the American Century show at the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Cineprobe series at the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Lin's work has been supported by fellowships from the New York State Council on the Arts and the Jerome Foundation. She is currently Assistant Professor in Media and Communication Arts at the City College of New York. Lana has just received a New York Foundation for the Arts fellowship in 2001.
