Rebeka Tabobondung is a member of Wasauksing First Nation, she is an emerging video documentary maker, poet, and dedicated community activist. Rebeka grew up in over 15 different towns and cities across Canada, she has traveled extensively through out Central America working to build meaningful links between Indigenous Peoples in the North and South. Rebeka is currently the co-Coordinator of the Women's Centre at the University of Toronto. Whether producing a video documentary, or poetry, Rebeka's work is always provocative, often weaving serious social commentary about the Indigenous reality with the awesome beauty of Indigenous knowings.
