Samuel Chow

Born in Hong Kong, Samuel Chow moved to Canada in 1989. An interdisciplinary artist, activist and educator -- his artistic works exploring the issues of diversity, identity, community and individuality have been exhibited internationally. A University of Toronto National Scholar and graduate, he specialized in Visual Studies. Adapted for CBC Radio, Samuel was profiled as a feature artist in Xtra! for his title "Banana Boy", winner of the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival Emerging Artist Award.
