Bentley Mays discusses Paul Wong's video work Confused: Sexual Views. Controversy surrounds the work as it was commissioned for the Vancouver Art Gallery, but cancelled before its first screening deemed "of no esthetic merit, idecent and offensive" by director Luke Rombout. The video work features interviews with 23 women and men (heterosexual, homosexual and bisexual) about their sexual styles, preferences and attitudes. Wong intended his work to be a celebraion of honest dialogue.
