Staged Inquisition masks complexity of trials women face

In his review of The Inquisition, Mike Steele outlines the conceptual framework of Dorit Cypis' play. He contends that the piece is in fact compelling in its insights about female desire and sexuality, but less so in its presentation, in which x-rated film images overwhelm positive images of female self-discovery.
