A review of Ann Stoddard's interactive video art installation Surviving Utopia 2 (april 2004). Stoddard critiques the US government's Patriot Act as well the government's over-reliance on technology by placing the viewer in situations where they are able to observe themselves through surveilance images. The exhibition also includes footage from the Guantanamo Bay detentin centre as well as various interrogation rooms used by the US to question potential terrorists.
