A review of Rita Myers installation video piece The Allure of the Concentric , which intergrates video with nature and technology. The work was on display from Sept. 28th until Nov. 3rd 1985, at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Sturken feels Myers created a highly sucessful installation, which was precisely arranged to force the viewer to interact in a particular manner. However, Sturken criticizes the use of bulky video monitors.
