Tannis Nielsen's Not Forgotten is a four channel video instillation of conversations with her 91 year old grandmother. Nielsen's grandmother, an assimilated Plains Cree Metis aboriginal, only just began to speak openly about her cultural knowledge after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. The disease has allowed her to forget how to forget.
