A brief introduction to the new biennial called Performa, that has joined the international art circuit and founded by RoseLee Goldberg. Featuring over 90 artists in 20 museums and galleries around Manhattan, the biennial focuses on performance art which is often overlooked at biennials. Most of the works are live performances and a number are film or video based.
