Barbara Prokop's The Speaking Chairs is an interactive installation at the Delta St. John's Hotel in St. John's Newfoundland.

Part of Contemporary Visual Festival, The Speaking Chairs involves green chairs that when sat upon trigger a doorbell and conversation between two strangers. The conversations consist of dialogue based around where people have travelled and the different experiences they have had there.
