This article is a review of Amar Kanwar's exhibition of three films, screened at Whitechapel as part of the London festival India Now. According to the author the films "exist at the crossroads of documentary, visual poetry, and philosophical meditations." India Now is a festival which marked the 60th anniversary of India's partition and all three of Kanwar's films explore this theme in different ways.
