Belgian-born artist Francis Alys's mid-career retrospective spans his works from 2005-2007. In his practice Alys focuses on ideas of the "developed" and "underdeveloped" and all the paradoxes inerent between these binaries. His works are both poetic and humourous and are often political. This articles briefly touches on Alys' recent works that are both being monumental to miniscule.
