This article discusses how issues surrounding population density and rampant sprawl are being assesses in Mexico City, Cairo, Mumbai, and London. Each city provides contemporary example of how the overextension or under-use of its previous structure has lead to various social, and environmental problems. Recent urban planning and design projects are providing balanced development, open access and effective transportation by working with the city's current structure. This piece contextualizes the three videos in the show.
