A Woman is a Moving Site

by Barbara Godard

Mix, Winter 1995, pp. 54-55

Godard's review focuses primarily on the theory behind the curatorial choices made by Carol Laing. Laing attempts to play with forms of address and cross-addressing, including the interface between picture making and theory. Instead of reading these as binaries, Laing sees them as two different temporal and spatial modes of approaching art.
