Video Technology and the Feminine

by Nell Tenhaaf

Parallèlogramme, 1992, v. 18, no. 3, pp. 24-37

This article focuses on the contradiction faced by contemporary women artists who work in technological media. Indeed, women have benefited by these tools in the last two decades to the extent that they have offered some freedom from the sexist art historical and critical practices attached to more established media.
