Eloquent ambiguity: Sleazy & sweet imaginings
Xtra!, July 7, 2005, no. 540, p. 29
Jon Davies reviews the collectively-authored show by Fennel Plunger Corporation, Regarding The Pain Of Susan Sontag. Their goal is to reflect on detached, distanced and abstracted reprsentations from lived experiences. The exhibition is not limited to drawings, objects, found notes, but also includes photographic installation by Jean-Paul Kelly, ideos by Steve Reinke, and virtual webcam performances by Anne Walk. Davies praises the eloquently provoked ambiguity within each respective piece.
