Confused by experimental cinema? Get on the bus!: Images Festival seeks to bring together video art and the common man

by Jason Rehel

The Globe and Mail, Apr. 3, 2008

A review of the 21st Images Festival which Rehel claims continues to seek popular attention. One of the festival's brightest attractions is the screening of G.B. Jones' The Lollipop Generation and other work by Jones - presented on a bus tour that was apparently "destroying" traditional notions of gallery space, according to Pablo de Ocampo, Images Artistic Director. This theme popular awareness has continued in the Festival's decision to honour Nelson Henricks who has made and continues to make significant contributions to the images arts in Canada.
