"Breaking Stereotypes" is a review of a festival that does just that. The Chicago Latino Film Festival presents works by global Latino artists that tackle many different issues from a variety of perspectives and styles. Common themes are political oppression in Latin American countries and immigration integration issues. The festival is being praised for bring together artists on a global and local level. An short but interesting note that while Pablo Perelman's Imagen Latent was banned from exhibition in Chile, it is being viewed via video cassettes.
