Jesse Drew describes the activities of Paper Tiger TV and its distribution network Deep Dish TV to provide alternative and oppositional news programming during and in the time surrounding the Gulf War (called the Gulf Crisis TV Project). Drew and Kahn discuss problems in American media censorship (particularly as they relate to the Gulf War) and the development of the Gulf Crisis TV Project before, during, and after the war.
