Video Guide, Sept. 1986, v. 8, no. 38, pp. 6-7
"A Retrospective of Canadian Feminist Production" a workshop presentation by Renee Baert focuses on the political strageties in producing feminist work. Baert discusses female produced videos that address representations of women as depicted in mass media (specifically television). Explored through three categories (1) deconstructive, (2)collective self-representation and (3) position of "I", first person narrative as context, Baert illustrates how female video producers have created a intervention to television.
