Guerrilla Television in the Digital Archive

In this article, the author explores the various issues impacting the processes of early video and television art restoration. Particular focus is given to the work being done by the Media Burn Independent Video Archive in Chicago, Illinois. The process of videotape archiving and restoration is discussed in detail, along with the history of web based video art in the late 20th and early 21st century.
