In this artist statement Joseph DeLappe discusses the online memorial intervention project—dead-in-iraq — that he began in March 2006. Using the login name "dead-in-Iraq DeLappe enters the online America's Army where he types in the name, age, service branch, and date of death of each US military person killed in the conflict.
