Stephen Horne describes Yam Lau's video projection piece "Between Past and Present: Lived Moments in Beijing." In the piece a house builds and unbuilds itself, the house is a model drawn by the projection that draws and redraws itself endlessly. The piece propose to bring digital design capabilities into proximity with traditional concerns such as memory, home, building, permanence, and mortality.
