Video artist Matthew Noel-Tod's recent works, a loose trilogy, are discussed in terms of their use of new technology (such as CGI and 3D modelling). Noel-Tod's works refer to capitalism and consumer desire, and evoke Internet memes, children's shows, and the London Riots of August 2011. The author concludes that Noel-Told's work is ultimately about cycles of life and death.
