Heather and Ivan Morison created a three-part video installation as a response to their year-long residency at Thomas Buxton primary school in Tower Hamlets. The piece, titled Smile All the While, was commissioned by the education department of Whitechapel Gallery in London. Smile All the While deals with issues of play, humour, learning through theatre and the arts, and the malleability of language.
