This article is a brief review of a show by VNS Matrix at YYZ Gallery in Toronto. The author reviews two works - one a video piece in which you are supposed to achieve "optimum sensate immersion" and the other an installation piece that simulates a video game in which you help to overthrow the patriarchy of the matrix. Both works bring a feminist bent to new technology and video.
