Alona Rodeh was born in Israel in 1979 and recently spent time in Winnipeg, during which time Robert Enright and Meeka Walsh interviewed her for Border Crossings. The interview with Rodeh that follows this lengthy introduction explores Rodeh's initiation into the art world, her influences, her interest in music, and her oeuvre, which consists of a variety of media including sculpture, drawing, and video.
