Brooklyn-based artist Jenny Perlin film and video project investigates structures of surveillance based on the FBI archive of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg's case in 1953 during the cold war. Perlin's exhibition at The Kitchen in New York included Inaudible and Transcript. Inaudible is a stop-motion animation of selected and edited transcripts from the case reworked into a new narrative by the artist establishing contemporary connections to surveillance within Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay during the war in Iraq.
