by Jennifer Field

Art AsiaPacific, Nov 2015

Review of an exhibition of the work of Korean-American artist Nam June Paik. Considered the pioneer of video art, Nam June Paik was concerned with the social impact of telecommunications, the merger of art and life, and notions of infinite lateral time. The artist died in 2006, and the exhibition includes works from the 2000s as well as from each decade of Paik's career.
