In View Of Feminism: LA/London Lab's film and video: Hitchcockian devices, assumend identities and memories of pain
Fuse, Nov. 1981, v. 5, no. 8 & 9, pp. 263-265
An article that examines the recent series in film and video made by women artists involved in the L.A./London Lab. Incorporating issues of spiritualism, autobiography, subversion, activism, mythology, and history into their artistic vocabularie, this new work proves that "the vocabularies have developed into complicated dialects, articulating not only women's performance but broad feminist concerns in other modes of communication such as film and video." The author explores the possibilities of these articulations beyond the borders of art media.
