Nina Könnemann: Bann

Nina Könnemann: Bann

Bann (2012, 7:30, HD) was filmed in London´s financial district where the spaces in which smoking is possible are increasingly restricted. The video presents a catalogue of inlets and corners where this activity is still practiced. Stains and residues, a hand or the tip of a shoe behind a wall indicate those niches.

Opening Reception: Saturday, October 26, 2013, 2:00 to 5:00pm.
3:00pm, Nina Könnemann in conversation with Jutta Brendemuhl, Program Curator, Goethe-Institut Toronto.
