By Way Of Fiction

In our everyday communication, we create fictions. We tell stories to escape, to remake, to alter our past and our future, to give meaning to our experience. By Way Of Fiction is a continuation of that fiction making process. The main female character occupies both fictional and real life roles. Like Madame Bovary, the character's drama is the gap between reality and illusion. By Way Of Fiction is a product of an aggregate of experience, some personally lived, others heard of second hand, and some taken from reading. The viewer must relate fiction and reality, connect or disconnect the imaginary and the lived.
