Francesca Woodman is a videotape in memory of a young photographer. This poetic exploration reveals the problematic relation between a woman's need to represent the female body - her own - and the medium of photography. In juxtaposing Woodman's photographs and her own carefully framed fragments, Thomas creates an emotionally resonant dialogue between the mute, still images and her own living body.
