Choreographies of the Dotted Line

1976, 13:00 minutes, B&W

TAPECODE 061.02

The Reduced activity of this tape emphasizes and defines the performers control, or lack thereof. This activity is framed at the beginning to be understood through its minimal audio component and discreet movement of the prop - 100 feet of fabric. The duration of the framing is maximized before the performer's struggle is fully available. The action's futility is disarmed after the full extent of her lack of control is imposed.
