Those Lesbian Girls are Really Talented is a twenty-five minute documentary, produced by Marion Lydbrooke about lesbian musicians living and working in Toronto. It was made for SHE/TV at Maclean Hunter Cable 10, Parkdale. SHE/TV are a diverse group of women who produce programs for Cable 10 by, for and about women. They have a weekly program on Thursdays at 11pm.
Those Lesbian Girls... features live footage from Pride Day '92 of The Faith Nolan Band and Random Order, showing in these two bands some of the most talented and interesting musicians in Toronto. Faith Nolan, Sherry Sute, Chiyoka Slavnics, Assar Santana (from Montreal), Rachel Melas, Connie Nowes and Lynn Phillips. There is also live footage of 7¢ Posse at the Rivoli, Toronto and interviews with nine diffent women including Faith Nolan, Rahcel Melas, Pat Jeffries (The Heretics), Ojibwe Drummer and poet Nicole Tanguay, Sherry Shute and others.
