The tape puts forward the notion of mass media as having a strong influence on how women perceive women. The tape shows a series of mass media imagery taken from Vogue magazine and cuts it with a woman trying to imitate the poses and concepts illustrated by the representations. The images are edited to the beat of new wave music which tends to be seductive. The images and music are abruptly cut by real time and real sound or no sound, while showing the woman who is the "actress", forcing a confrontation from the viewer.
