A meditative reflection on animate energy. Locked in cages, chained to bells... As the animals strive to transcend their conditions, their energy transforms into sound and movement... "karan koron" is a Japanese onomatopeia. It refers to the resonating sounds of bells ringing, footsteps of wooden clogs... The music-like soundtrack of this work is derived from the sound of cow-bells which I recorded and then processed.
