The subject of Babylon is the vanishing world of XXth Century, its social icons, mythological events, technical means, chaotic and bloody history. Babylon investigates the unavoidable corrosion and disastrous power of technology and the decay of technological society. The ironic statement, the narcissistic images, the heavily vibrating poetical structure and the absurd atmosphere is articulated through the radical setting of the piece (a superhuman creature visits a monumental and motionless landscape of scrap metal) and the technically innovative production values (3D computer animation, aerial & crane camera, digital effects, etc.).
